About American Authors

American Authors is a rock band from New York City whose hit single "Best Day Of My Life" topped the charts in 2013. The band is composed of lead singer Zac Barnett, lead guitarist and backing vocalist James Adam Shelley, bassist and backing vocalist Dave Rublin and drummer Matt Sanchez.They blend modern folk-rock elements with a pop twist. Since they began in 2006, the group has released two studio albums, Oh, What a Life and What We Live For, as well as two EPs. Popular songs from their first album include "Believer", "What We Live For" and "Best Day Of My Life". The group has toured with bands like OneRepublic, 21 Pilots, The Head and The Heart and Young the Giant. American Authors has also headlined their own US and European tours. In addition to the music, they created a brand called "Just Go". The clothing line is inspired by their music and the band's dynamic.
