BJ Barham is an Americana folk singer-songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee. His career began in 2005 as the lead vocalist and principle songwriter for the North Carolina based rock band American Aquarium. Since leaving the band in 2014, Barham has pursued a successful solo career. His music has been praised for its emotionally raw lyrics and for his ability to tell stories of everyday life with his distinct southern twang. Barham's debut solo album, Rockingham (2015), was met with critical acclaim and extensive touring. Barham's sound is heavily influenced by the likes of John Prine, Bob Dylan, Ryan Adams, and Tom Petty. He has released two additional solo albums, 2018's 'Things Change' and 2020's 'Saltwater Gospel'. Additionally, Barham released a covers album in 2019 titled 'Diggin' Up The Acorns'. He continues to tour and sell out venues across the country.
