8 Ball Aitken is an Australian singer-songwriter who has carved a niche for himself in the country music scene. After pulling the attention of music lovers at several open mics and small bars in Queensland, 8 Ball released his first EP in 2016. Since then, 8 Ball has been recording and releasing music to wide acclaim and has opened for established country acts, including Chris LeDoux. In 2019, 8 Ball released a full-length album entitled 'Thelma & Louise', containing songs written over the previous three years, which earned him his first ARIA chart entry. His songs are known to mix classic-style country with elements of blues and rock. 8 Ball also performs regularly at festivals throughout Australia, including The Gympie Music Muster and Urban Country Music Festival.
