About A Perfect Circle
Formed as an extension of Tool, rock's most intricate metal bands, A Perfect Circle comes as a surprise in the late 90s. Established by Tool's lead vocalist Maynard James Keenan, the band went to release four studio albums The alternative metal project was partly short-lived as the group entered a remodeling phase between 2004 and 2010. Their sound was anything but obscure. It maintained that imaginative feel; however, it was leaning more towards a piece of mainstream alternative music. The art-like metal somehow echoed their music, but their approach was more melodic, softer, and lighter on the soul. A Perfect Circle was its own entity, and with the release of their first studio album "Mer de Noms " in 2000, they established a bridge between Tool's sound and the new groups' alternative sound.
