Aaron Gillespie is an American musician known for his versatile talent. Originally the drummer and clean vocalist for the metalcore band Underoath, he left the band in 2010 to focus on his solo career. Along with playing drums and singing, he can play a variety of instruments, including guitar, bass, and keyboards. His solo music ranges from Christian rock and acoustic to post-hardcore and electronica, leaning toward a softer, more introspective sound. He has recorded several albums, all on his own record label, Strange Negotiations. He formed a band in 2012 called The Almost and has released two albums with them. In recent years, Gillespie has toured liberally and is currently supporting the launch of a new vinyl collection called ‘Vinyl on the Road’.
