Alesana is an American rock band from Raleigh, North Carolina, formed in 2004. The band has released six studio albums, their most successful being 'The Emptiness' released in 2010. Since forming, Alesana have been recognised for their use of classical instruments, as well as unique narrations that add to an emotional and cinematic feel of their music.

The band’s musical style has changed over the years, from metalcore and post-hardcore in their debut album On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax to more varied styles in their later albums, including influences of folk, rock, and classical music.

Having showcased at Warped Tour, Taste of Chaos, and festivals across Europe, Alesana have collected a dedicated fan base. The band’s love for story-telling shines in their music, creating an exciting and dynamic live show which has earned them legions of fans.
