Alix Alvarez is a Puerto Rican music artist from the San Juan area. Starting his career in the underground music scene in 1999, he quickly gained notoriety in the electronic music industry for his deep house recordings. He has released 3 studio albums, and remixed tracks for a variety of European and American artists. The producer and DJ has a signature sound that is a melting pot of Latin American and Caribbean styles with modern electronic production values. His sound has been featured on the likes of BBC Radio, Rinse FM, Solar Radio, and Red Bull Music Academy Radio. In 2007 he founded his label, Sole Channel Music, and released his own music, as well as music from other up and coming DJs.
