Amarou is an up and coming French singer from Toulouse, France. He first made his presence known with his debut single ‘Avant Tout’ in 2018, which earned him a place at the prestigious Reeperbahn music festival in Germany. Following the song’s immediate success, Amarou released his first EP ‘Coin Eteint’, which was composed of seven intimate and soulful tunes. Since then, Amarou has continued to gain traction in the French music scene with his distinct sound which blurs the boundaries between genres such as R&B, soul, and Hip-hop. His music is often infused with French rap and Romantic lyrics. Amarou released his first EP in 2019, with intentions to record his first full-length album in 2021.
