Arcana are a musical group from Finland, fronted by singer and multi-instrumentalist Peter Bjärgö. Their music is a powerful blend of neoclassical, gothic and ambient music that explores the darker reaches of the human soul. Arcana have released fifteen albums since their self-titled debut in 1997, exploring melancholic and mystical themes in a gentle yet powerful way. They have immersed their sound in electronics and choirs, creating soundscapes that juxtapose ethereal beauty and melancholic darkness. With each album, Arcana deepen their exploration of musical genres, inviting us on a journey through ancient Scandinavian folk songs and myths as well as their own musical world.
