Arcangel is a Puerto Rican musician, singer, and songwriter, from San Juan, Puerto Rico. He has become a well-known figure in the Latin music world since emerging in 2005, and has released eight studio albums, four mixtapes, and numerous singles. His commercial success has included appearances at some of the biggest music festivals in the United States and Latin America. His discography includes hits such as "Me Prefieres a Mi," "Po' Encima," and "Me Acostumbre," which are combined with trap, hip hop, Latin music, and dancehall influences. His fifth studio album, which was released in 2017, peaked at number-one on both the Billboard Latin Albums and Top Latin Albums charts in the United States. Arcangel has received numerous awards, including a Latin Grammy and Premios Tu Mundo for Musical Artist of the Year.
