Architectural is a Swedish electronic music project created by Henric de la Cour and Jonatan Nästesjö in 2008. Often citing nature and post-apocalyptic science fiction influence, their music has been described as a mix of synth-wave, industrial, and krautrock. In 2010, they released their self-titled debut album on Hybris Records, and have since issued six full-length albums, four EP's, and a handful of singles through various labels. Since their self titled debut, Architectural's sound has been a constantly evolving blend of jazz, krautrock, and film inspired electronic atmospheres. Their most recent releases, Cassini and Vanish/Disappear, see the duo exploring more cinematic soundscapes with heavily synthesised drones and ambience. Throughout their discography, Architectural have consistently pushed genre boundaries, creating haunting soundscapes and thoughtful, meditative music.
