Asaf Avidan is an Israeli singer-songwriter and musician. In 2006, he was the lead singer and songwriter of the Israeli folk rock band Asaf Avidan & the Mojos. The band released three studio albums, achieving Platinum and Gold statuses in Israel. After the band disbanded, Avidan released his first solo album, Poor Boy / Happy Man in 2010. The album and single "Reckoning Song (One Day)" became international hits and achieved Platinum status in Europe and Gold status in Israel. Avidan released two additional solo albums, The Study on Falling in 2012 and Gold Shadow in 2015. He has also collaborated with various artists, including Delta Maid, Balkan Beat Box, and Woodkid. Avidan continues to tour in Europe, the United States, and elsewhere.
