Awanto3 is the moniker for Amsterdam-born electronic producer Steven Van Hulten. Since his 2012 debut album 'It's Taking Over Me', he has steadily become a mainstay in the world of electronic music. His music draws on the frenetic energy of Chicago house and Detroit techno, with his production techniques creating tight and layered pieces of music. He's released highly regarded albums on Rush Hour, Delsin and Dekmantel, as well as many DJ mixes, remixes and edits. Through these releases, Awanto3 has taken dancers, both real and virtual, on kaleidoscopic trips around the world and through time. He also works live, with his machines and sounds combining to form powerful and intense sonic creations.
