B. Hayes, also known as Boinie Hayes, is an American hip-hop artist from Dayton, Ohio. He began his career releasing mix tapes in the early 2000's, rising to local notoriety with the release of his mixtape 'Lost in a Crowd'.

His 2010 record 'It's Time Now' garnered attention from record labels, leading to a couple of short-lived contracts and the release of his first studio album 'Day by Day'. He quickly achieved nationwide recognition with his chart-topping single 'Special', which peaked at #3 on the US Hot Rap / R&B Songs chart.

Since then B. Hayes has released several studio album, including 'Alive' and 'Brother's Keeper' which were both certified gold in the US. He is often recognized as a leader in the southern rap scene and known for his laid back, witty lyrics, while often writing about his personal struggles.
