Back in Black is an Australian pop and rock band formed in Sydney in 1973. Their frontman, Brian Johnson, has been integral to the band since 1980. The band is best known for its hit song "Back in Black" which became the second best-selling single by any artist ever. The band has sold an estimated 200 million records worldwide, making them one of the best selling musical groups of all time. Along with AC/DC's signature sound of hard rock, they also incorporate blues rock, rock and roll, and even heavy metal into their repertoire. They have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, they have won many awards including five ARIA Awards, and won multiple Grammy Awards. Despite over forty years of success, they continue to tour and show no sign of slowing down.
