Banda Los Recoditos is a Mexican regional music group formed in 1999 by a group of students from Ciudad Obregon in Sonora, Mexico. The band is known for embracing a hybrid style of traditional Mexican music including norteño, Banda, cumbia, pop, and rap. Banda Los Recoditos have achieved massive success since their formation, releasing over a dozen albums and multiple award-winning Latin singles, earning them two Latin Grammy Awards and a BMI Latin award. They have toured extensively throughout the United States, playing large venues like the Staples Center and Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, as well as smaller theaters and auditoriums. Their music is a signature part of Hispanic culture and their unique sound has earned them a dedicated fan base all over the world.
