Barnacle Boi is an up and coming indie artist and multi-instrumentalist, most well-known for his soulful folk-influenced hip-hop style. Born and raised in South-East Louisiana, Barnacle Boi claims his melodic, thoughtful sound comes from the Americana-modern mash up he was raised on. His debut EP, 'Elevate', was released in 2019 and he gained quick recognition for the record's mix of heavy lyricism and soulful sound. His follow-up EP, 'Seaspray', found him further examining his Louisianan upbringing in an exploration of social and political issues. His music has since been featured in several independent films and documentaries, and assisted in garnering him fans from all around the globe. Barnacle Boi is currently working on his third EP, which is set to reinvigorate his individual and unique sound.
