Bassman is an Australian music artist, hailing from Sydney's outskirts. As his name suggests, Bassman's primary focus is on the bass guitar, which he works with a mix of swinging syncopation and jazz-infused stylings. He has released nine albums over the course of his career, encompassing both instrumental and vocal contributions.

He has toured extensively throughout Europe, The Middle East, Australia and New Zealand, performing both at jazz festivals and traditional clubs, and many of his tracks have received frequent radio play.
