Becky G is an American singer, songwriter and rapper of Mexican and El Salvadoran descent. She first gained recognition in 2011 when she posted a video of herself rapping to a popular song on YouTube. Since then, she's released two studio albums, Mala Santa (2019) and Mía (2018). Her singles "Mayores" and "Sin Pijama" both topped the US Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart while "Shower" was a top 20 hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. She has also collaborated with numerous artists, appearing on singles such as "Dura" with Daddy Yankee, "Mad Love" with Sean Paul and David Guetta, and "ME! Gostoso" with Pedro Capó, among others. Becky G is now signed with the agency CAA and is working on her career as an actor, performing voice roles in shows including "UglyDolls" and "Empire".
