About Between the Buried and Me
Between The Buried And Me is an American progressive metal band from Raleigh, North Carolina. With smart song compositions, mathematical guitar progressions, and Tommy Giles Rogers Jr. vocal, the group has all the elements for a metal band to succeed in the new millennium. Formed in 2000, Between The Buried and Me has taken numerous forms and adapted tp several rock and metal genres before mixing in their own two cents and creating what some might consider a balanced metal sound. Tracks like "Voice of Trespass" is the number one reason the band is deemed to be pioneering the progressive metal genre. With roots in indie and hardcore, the group gradually built towards their existing metal sound and, influences from their past bands still find a place in some of their albums.
