Bona (born Chu Tae-hoo) is a South Korean singer, rapper, and songwriter who debuted in 2020 under the label H1GHR Music. She is best known for her melodic hip hop experience, smooth rap style, and her unique, soulful and vulnerability-driven lyrics.
Bona has captivated many fans with her playful mix of melodic rap, dreamy atmospherics and east coast influenced vibes. Her debut album, City Girl, began to gain fame as it rose to the top of the mainstream charts, cementing her name as a rising artist in South Korea.
Since then, Bona has released several singles and a full-length EP, The Visitor. She has performed at festivals like Imagine Music Festival and World DJ Festival where she showcased her rapping and singing talents to major crowds.
