About Buku
Buku is an electronic music producer and DJ based in Philadelphia. He is known for his unique bass-driven style of production and intense, energetic sets rooted in drum and bass, dubstep, trap, and more. He began producing and DJing in 2009 and has released four albums, along with numerous singles and remixes.
His collaboration with the label Basshead Music in 2014 proved to be a turning point for Buku, as it allowed him to build a strong platform to get his music heard globally. Since then, he has gone on to support huge acts like Skrillex, Flux Pavilion, and Excision while also playing various festivals like Movement Detroit, Electric Adventure, and TomorrowWorld. Buku has also branched out into the production of podcasts and mixes, often working with the likes of Pierre Reynolds and Nasko.
