Cave In is an American rock band who formed in 1995 and is currently comprised of Stephen Brodsky, Caleb Scofield, Adam McGrath, and JR Conners. Their music is an amalgam of post-hardcore, progressive rock and metal.

In 1998, Cave In released their first full-length album, Until Your Heart Stops, which was an immediate critical success and established them as one of the more important figures in the burgeoning post-hardcore scene. The album still remains a fan favorite.

In the mid-2000s the band shifted away from their post-hardcore sound and turned to a more hard rock and metal oriented direction. This transition earned them a new legion of fans, and was supported by a growing fanbase from their earlier albums.
