Chris SSG, born Chris Sersaw, is arap artist from Atlanta, Georgia. He began making music in 2010, and soon garnered a following with his distinctively lyrical style. In 2015, Chris released his debut EP and began touring, performing at many live events across the US. His music gained a buzz in the underground rap scene and he soon signed to indie label, Alpha Tribe. Since then, Chris has released two critically-acclaimed mixtapes and toured with big-name hip hop artists such as Migos, Future, and Young Thug. His most recent album, The Youngest in Charge, received positive reviews and was featured on BET Jams, Apple Music’s ‘The A-List: Hip-Hop’ and BBC1Xtra’s ‘Hot New Hip Hop. Chris SSG is definitely an artist to keep an eye on in the future.
