Her music utilizes a wide range of influences, from folk and blues to electronica and psychedelia. Her music is often characterized by haunting vocal melodies, elaborate acoustic guitar patterns, and instruments like the banjo and cello. Fohr's work has been compared to Mark Kozelek, Nico, and Nick Drake. She has collaborated with many notable artists including High Places, Bonnie Prince Billy, and Xiu Xiu Her most recent album, Reaching For Indigo, was released in 2017 and was very well received.
