About Da Capo
Da Capo is a Zimbabwean-born Afropop artist based in South Africa. He grew up surrounded by music and he began his professional music career in 2018 with his single, 'Ndapota.' His music has been nominated for several awards, including an award for Best Newcomer in 2018.
Having gained media attention and critical acclaim, Da Capo's debut album in 2018, 'Lost' received much praise and won him the award for 'Best Newcomer' that same year. His follow-up album, 'Uyiswele', was released in 2020 and was also highly praised.
Da Capo is considered to be one of the most prominent artists in the Afro-pop genre and he has toured extensively around South Africa, as well as playing shows around the world, including the UK, US and Europe. His third album, 'Mnazi wa Mzinga', will be released in 2021 and he continues
