About Daddy Yankee
Daddy Yankee is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer, record producer and actor. He is widely considered one of the pioneers of reggaeton and has become one of the most successful Latin American artists in urban music. He has released ten studio albums, most notably Barrio Fino (2004) and El Cartel: The Big Boss (2007), both certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America.
Some of his most popular songs include "Gasolina" (2004), "Rompe" (2005) and "Despacito" (2017). "Despacito" was the most streamed song of all time at the time of it's release and remains one of the most successful songs in Latin music. He has also collaborated with several US artists like Justin Bieber, Kendrick Lamar, Pitbull, Lil Jon and many more.
In addition to his music career, Daddy Yankee has also become an actor and television personality. The success of his 2018 single "Dura"
