Daily Bread is a hip-hop duo from the Detroit-metro area who have been making music together for over 15 years. The duo consists of 15-year-old producer and emcee Grey Matter and the veteran emcee Diesel. They have a unique sound that combines hip-hop with elements of other genres such as rock, jazz, and soul.

Daily Bread released their debut album, Cooking With Grease, in 2008, which landed them the title of Detroit Underground's Best New Artist of the Year. Their follow up album, Every Day I'm Breading, released in 2012, gained much critical praise from the hip-hop community. They have released several mixtapes and albums since, including their 2018 album, Sourdough.

Their music has been featured in numerous outlets, such as BET and Sirius XM, and they have toured extensively throughout the United States, Europe, and beyond. Daily Bread draws inspiration from a variety of influences,
