Dan the Automator tickets

Dan the Automator is an American hip hop and electronic music producer and DJ from the San Francisco Bay Area. He began his career in 1991 as a producer for alternative rap groups such as Mass Influence and Latyrx. Dan quickly gained renown in the hip-hop scene, producing notable tracks for Kool Keith, Del The Funky Homosapien, and Dr. Octagon.

In 1996, Dan the Automator formed the influential post-industrial side-project called Deltron 3030 with rapper Del The Funky Homosapien and producer Kid Koala. Deltron 3030 released a self-titled album in 2000, and a sequel in 2013.

In 1999, Dan created the Gorillaz’s debut album ‘Gorillaz’ which helped popularize the ‘trip-hop’ style and earned him numerous accolades. The Automator has since gone on to produce numerous albums and collaborate
