About Daniel Miller
Daniel Miller is a musician, artist, and producer from London. He was born in 1954 and is considered to be one of the most influential figures in electronic music. He formed the independent label Mute Records in 1978 and is responsible for launching the careers of a number of synth-pop acts such as Depeche Mode, Nitzer Ebb, and Yazoo. He is credited with introducing minimal synth sounds to popular music. Miller has also made several records as a solo artist, as the frontman of The Normal, and in collaboration with other musicians. He is also the owner of a publishing company called Mute Song. Throughout his career, Miller has remained at the forefront of electronic music, pushing boundaries and inspiring successive generations of musicians.
