Decades is an alternative rock band from Austin, Texas. The group consists of four members, whose work is described as melodic and beautiful but also intense and powerful. The band first formed in late 2012 and released their debut self-titled EP in 2013. They have since released two studio albums, Us Versus Them in 2015 and Past & Future Ruins in 2019. In addition to their own music, they have collaborated with other Texas bands such as Explosions in the Sky, The Mars Volta, and Ume. Their work has started wining praise from critics for their depth and emotional power. Over the years, Decades have toured extensively throughout the US and Europe, including festival appearances and opening slots for nationally recognized musicians.
