About DJ Slugo
DJ Slugo is a popular figure in the contemporary Chicago house music scene. He has been producing and performing since the mid 90s, and has become a fixture in the city's underground clubs.
DJ Slugo quickly rose to international prominence in the late 90s and early 2000s, with his tracks gaining widespread dancefloor appeal. He has collaborated with fellow Chicago artists such as Boo Williams, Paul Johnson, and DJ Funk, as well as American hip hop acts like Twista and Do or Die.
Outside of his original productions, DJ Slugo has become an in-demand remixer, taking on projects from genre-defining acts like Daft Punk, and crafting his own versions of classic house and techno anthems.
Most recently, DJ Slugo has launched his own record label, ‘SlugO Sciences’, which has become a platform for some of the freshest talent in the city. He hasn't stopped playing
