About E^ST
E^ST is the musical nom-de-plume of Australian musician, songwriter, and producer Mel Bester. Her music blends together moody electronic sounds and raw, emotive riffs, exploring themes of personal growth and social commentary. She released her debut single, 'Life Goes On', in 2015, and her 'Life Ain't Always Roses' EP in 2016. In 2018, she released her debut full-length album, 'I'm Doing It', to critical acclaim, and later that year collaborated with Tkay Maidza on the single, 'Molly'. She followed that up with her 2019 album, 'Death Of The Ego', and in 2020 her single, 'Maybe', was featured as part of Apple Music's UpNext artist launch. Her music has also been featured on popular shows such as Grey's Anatomy, Pretty Little Liars, and Skins.
