Eddie Fowlkes is an American DJ and producer from Detroit, MI. He is known for being one of the founding fathers of Detroit techno and house music. Over the course of his career, he has released thirteen studio albums, performed all over the world for some of the biggest clubs, and collaborated with fellow legends like Kevin Saunderson and Derrick May. In 1991, he scored the title track off Jeff Mills’ release “untitled artwork” and co-wrote 3 series’ of releases under the label “Direct Beat”. He was also a founding member of the “Godfathers of Techno” group. His recent works have seen him collaborate with jazz-influenced groups and underground funk bands. Eddie Fowlkes continues to tour and provide electronic music fans with new material.
