Eduardo Castillo is a Spanish singer-songwriter from Madrid, Spain. He gained fame after winning a TV talent show in 2006 and has since released 7 studio albums, featuring folk songs with Latin and indie influences. His soulful ballads and guitar melodies have brought him international recognition and made him a celebrated artist in Spain. In 2018 Eduardo was recognized with a Latin GRAMMY nomination in the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album category for his album called #25. Castillo is renowned for his energetic live performances, with recognition from major music festivals such as Primavera Sound and Rototom Sunsplash. Just last year he released the album ‘Soy Volcán’, to much acclaim, confirming his place as one of the most important contemporary Spanish songwriters.
