Gene Farris is a house and techno music producer and DJ. He is a Chicago-based artist with an almost two-decade long career as a musician and performer. Farris has released albums, EPs and a long list of singles. His music is acclaimed by music fans and noted for its old-school sounds, funky rhythms and use of sampling. Farris also runs his own label, Farris Wheel Records, and has been a resident DJ at the renown house music venue The Grand. He has performed at the world's most prominent clubs, including Story Miami, WEPA Festival Barcelona, and Cocorico in Italy. He has collaborated with some of the top names in house music and released multiple collections on labels such as Toolroom and Defected.
