About Groove City
Groove City is an innovative electro-pop/dance music group based out of Toronto, Canada. The group was established in 2012 and is comprised of Jaxon Cabral, frontman and principal composer, Michael Bridge on guitars, bass and synths, Lukas Rideout providing additional instrumentation and rhythm, and Chris Ferguson bringing infectious beats and grooves. Groove City has released 3 EP’s to date, and their latest, Highs & Lows, was released in August 2015. This album spawned the widely popular single, ‘Dance The Shame Away’ which gained recognition on radio and college stations across the US. Groove City’s sound has been described as a unique blend of acoustic and electronic elements filled with melodic hooks and hip rhythms that have been embraced by audiences and music industry alike.
