Hand Habits is an indie-folk singer-songwriter from Los Angeles fronted by Meg Duffy. Duffy’s primary instrument is guitar, and their signature sound involves primarily acoustic music. They released their debut album 'Wildly Idle' in 2017, and have released two albums since. Their most recent album, 'Placeholder' was released in 2019 and featured guest appearances from Julian Myles and Robert Solone. Their music has been noted for its focus on environmental issues, as well as themes covering depression and anxiousness. For this album, Duffy has been nominated for a Grammy and has been on tour in the US and Europe since its release.
