About Hyd
Hyd is an underground singer-songwriter and rapper, hailing from the Bay Area in California. Hyd has gained notoriety for his clever wordplay and catchy samples, often blended with hard-hitting drums and syrupy melodies. His highly acclaimed 2019 album "When It's Dark at Night" solidified his presence in the Bay Area rap scene as his best work yet. Since then, Hyd has collaborated with various Bay Area artists and independent labels, steadily building his discography and fan-base. He has performed at both local venue shows and festivals, including Outside Lands Music Festival in San Francisco. In 2021, Hyd released his fifth studio album, titled "Nomad".
