Ibeyi is a French-Cuban duo composing of twin sisters, Lisa-Kaindé and Naomi Díaz. Formed in 2013, the musical duo combines elements of Cuban music, jazz, electronica, hip-hop, gospel and spoken word. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2015, and included the single "River", which reached No. 15 on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic songs chart. In 2017 they released their second album, "Ash", which peaked at No. 16 on the Top World Albums charts and received critical acclaim. In addition to their own music, Ibeyi has lent their unique harmonies to a range of collaborations, including working with the legendary producer, Richard Russell, on his Everything is Recorded album. Their music has been championed by the likes of Beyoncé, who used the track "River" in her Lemonade film.
