Isobel Campbell is a Scottish singer, songwriter, composer, and record producer who is best known for her work with The Gentle Waves, Belle & Sebastian, and her solo career. Her music has been noted for its fusion of a wide range of genres including folk, pop, country, and classical influences.

Her solo work began with her 2001 debut album ‘The Green Fields of Foreverland’, which was followed up the next year with the critically acclaimed album ‘Amphibious.' Collaborations with Mark Lanegan followed with their duo album ‘Sunday at Devil Dirt’ and the follow up ‘Hawk’ in 2009.

Over the years she has released a total of seven studio albums to date and has also written scores for documentary films and theatre productions as well as singing with contemporary classical music ensembles. She is also an experienced live performer and has toured extensively with both solo shows and with separate acts over the years.
