Janus Rasmussen is a Danish producer and multi-instrumentalist from the Faroe Islands. He is the frontman of electro-pop dream-pop trio, Kiasmos, alongside Ólafur Arnalds. Janus’ solo work combines classical and electronic elements, focussing on ambience and mood. He released his debut solo album ‘Vin’ in April 2019, honing a more electronica-focused style. This was followed by a remix album later that year. Vin saw praise from publications worldwide, with The Guardian describing it as music of “uncanny beauty”. Janus has gone on to collaborate with the likes of Supermodified and Iyes, and played at festivals such as Beyond The Woods and Nordklang.
