About Jonah Sharp
Jonah Sharp is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer who has been creating and releasing music since the late 90s. He is best known for blending his own form of live electronic music with influences from classical, dub, rock, jazz, and world music.
Sharp began his career in the underground rave and club scenes in San Francisco, where he was part of the experimental house duo Spacetime Continuum. After nearly 20 years on the scene, he is now producing and performing solo projects as both an instrumentalist and a songwriter.
His discography ranges from collaborations with jazz virtuoso Christian Scott and hip-hop producer Kool Keith, to psychedelic rockers Broadcast and the avant-garde Icelandic iconouluk Bjork. He has also created critically acclaimed original solo works, including the albums Frequency are Compatible and Retina.
