Kendrick Lamar is an American rapper, songwriter and record producer known for his lyrical ability and thought-provoking songs. Lamar has achieved both critical and commercial success, and has had a major impact on the hip-hop genre.
He has won a total of eleven Grammy Awards and is in several Hall of Fame's, including the Top Dawg Entertainment Recording Academy, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. His fourth studio album, To Pimp A Butterfly, won five Grammy awards including Best Rap Album, Album of the Year, and Best Rap Performance.
Lamar has released a number of critically acclaimed albums, including Good Kid, Makin'ac City, DAMN., and Black Panther: The Album, which was featured in the Marvel movie of the same name. Lamar has collaborated with other major hip-hop artists, including SZA, Jay Z, Future, and Drake.
