About Laura Jane Grace
Laura Jane Grace is an American musician and songwriter. She is best known as the founder, lead singer, songwriter, and guitarist of the punk rock band Against Me!, which she formed in 1997. Grace is also the sole constant member in the band. Through Against Me!, Grace has released seven studio albums and several EPs.
In 2012, Grace publicly announced she was a trans woman and has since become a prominent figure in the LGBT community. She has released a solo album, "Stay Alive" (2020), as well as two albums with The Devouring Mothers, which she formed in 2018. Grace has also collaborated with other artists, such as Andrew W.K. on his album "You’re Not Alone".
Throughout her career, she has been nominated for multiple awards and has won several, including a GLAAD Media Award in 2018 for her work with The Devouring Mothers.
