About Little River Band
Little River Band (LRB) is an Australian rock band that was formed in 1975. They enjoyed major international success in the late 1970s and 1980s with a string of hit singles and albums. Throughout their career, the band has undergone numerous line-up changes and seen many of its members come and go. Lead vocalist and song writer, Glenn Shorrock, has been with the band since their inception.
The band's early sound, which was defined by harmonies and catchy melodic tunes, scored them seven consecutive Top 10 albums in the U.S., and earned them the title 'Melbourne's Fabulous Five' by the press. The band's most successful songs contained themes about having a good time, partying and falling in love, as heard in many of their biggest hits, such as “Reminiscing”, “Lonesome Loser” and “Cool Change”.
