Mad Ball is an American hardcore metal band from New York City. Led by vocalist Freddy Cricien, Mad Ball was formed in 1988 as a side project of the hardcore punk band Agnostic Front. During their career, the band has released seven studio albums, several EPs, and multiple live albums. They have toured internationally as headliners, as well as with other metal and hardcore acts. Mad Ball has earned critical acclaim for their blend of raw hardcore punk, metal, rap, and hip-hop. Musically, Mad Ball focuses on intense aggression, hardcore riffing, and heavy breakdowns, combined with Cricien’s voice and lyrics which are often aggressive and politically motivated. They have developed a devoted cult following due to their unique aggression and energy.
