Maldita Vecindad is a Mexican ska and rock band from Mexico City. They formed in the late 1980s and are well-known and admired for their unique style of blending rock, ska, and Latin rhythms with political and social lyrics. The band has achieved international fame with multiple high-profile shows and collaborations. They have released several albums and compilations, including a greatest hits album (Gran City Pop) in 2009. Maldita Vecindad’s last studio album, La Raya, came out in 2005 and they released an EP in 2014. The group continues to tour and perform to sell-out crowds.
