Matt Corby is an Australian singer, songwriter, and musician. He was a finalist on the third season of Australian Idol in 2005, and his debut EP, Song For..., was released in 2008. His music blends psychedelic soul, blues, and folk rock, and his debut studio album, Into The Flame, was released in 2011. The album went platinum and won the ARIA Music Award for Best Male Artist in 2012. In 2014, he released his second album, Resolution, which reached number two on the ARIA Albums Chart and was certified triple platinum. His most recent album, Rainbow Valley, was released in 2018 and was certified gold. Corby has been nominated for numerous awards and won the APRA Awards in 2015 for Blues & Roots Work of the Year.
