MC Davo (real name David Aguirre) is a Mexican rapper and songwriter from Chihuahua, Mexico. He is a major figure in Mexican hip-hop, mixing rap songs with Latin rhythms. He began releasing music independently in 2011, with his first full album, CMNL, released in 2012. He reached mainstream success in 2015 with his single "Miedo", which topped the Mexican music charts and held the #1 spot for 6 consecutive weeks. In 2017, MC Davo released his second studio album “Esenciales”, which spawned two chart topping singles and won multiple awards. MC Davo has performed in front of sold-out crowds at some of the biggest music festivals in Mexico and has collaborated with numerous renowned Mexican musicians. His music has been featured on television and radio shows across Mexico. He continues to write, record, and produce his own music to this day.
